An elegant, loose moving horse with excellent balance and scope. Really good paces, ground covering gallop.
Professionally produced without being pushed, considered to have all the scope to compete International Eventing or Advanced Dressage in a few years’ time.
PEDIGREE
His breeding is pure competition horse – his grandsires are Quattro B, Wall Street, Voltaire and Sheyenne de Baugy: each one has sired several Grand Prix horses.
SIRE ( Quattro B x Voltaire) was sourced as a 4yo at the beginning of his career: Zippo RV has been a consistent winner at BD Novice, Elementary and now Medium level.
Grand Sire : Quattro B has offspring competing successfully in both Dressage and ShowJumping at Grand Prix international level. He has many licensed sons including:

Grand Sire Voltaire, ridden by Jos Lansink, produced numerous international horses during his lifetime. From his first crop, he sired the champion sire Concorde.
DAM – Tanais competed at Medium Dressage and Discovery BSJA before injury led to her becoming a broodmare. She is 40% TB and has exceptional line breeding and mare lines. Berenice was the full sister to Dirka, the dam of Quidam de Revel who was the sire of Nabeb de Reve.
Grand Sire: Wall Street was the first offspring to represent the legendary sire Weltmeyer at the Olympic Games, coming 8th for Australia. He is a half brother to 69 other licensed sons including Wie Weltmeyer.
Grand Sire : Sheyenne de Baugy Grand Prix show jumper for the Belgian Team and is also the sire of Blanc de Blancs Grand Prix showjumper on the Brazilian Team.
PROGRESSION
As a foal, Fitzcarraldo came 2nd in the KWPN dressage foal grading and was accordingly accepted onto the prestigious KWPN register.
In summer 2014 he was backed and slowly produced by Team Opposition, Jumped British Novice at Sparsholt outdoors and Crofton Manor indoors.
In 2015 started British Eventing at Portman BE 90 – HC double clear, then Bovingdon BE100 leading the dressage on 23.5%
Clear cross country at Twesledown BE100 and BCA BE100. Then produced for affiliated dressage to build depth in his work. Burghley Young Event Horse class – 5th of 50 at Chepstow having been 2nd after the first rounds, with the highest jumping score.
11th of 55 at Badminton having been placed 8th in the jumping and conformation
Then produced for affiliated dressage to build depth to his work
British Dressage 2nd overall in open Elementary with a score of 69.8% at his first show,
5th in the highly competitive Shearwater Potential Dressage class with 68% to Charlotte Dujardin’s eventual champion Florentina’.
Won at Elementary only time out in 2016, has been prepared for Medium level.Dressage
